Itineraries
Day 1
KAMPALA – KITGUM
We pick you up at the hotel at 6:45 in the morning and begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luwero triangle, Kamdini trading centre then Gulu to Kitgum. Dinner and overnight at Acholi Pride guest house.
Day 2
KITGUM – KIDEPO VALLEY N.P.
Have an early start from Kitgum and proceed to Kidepo Valley national park, arrive in time for lunch. After the long drive it’s good to just relax at the lodge and enjoy the panoramic view of the Narus River Valley from the veranda of the lodge. Dinner and overnight at UWA Banda.
Day 3
KIDEPO VALLEY N.P.
After an early breakfast embark on a morning game drive and visit Kanangorok hot springs. During the game drive a variety of animals and birds will be seen and enjoyed. Drive back to the Lodge in preparation for the evening Karamajong cultural experience at Karenna and Kapedo. Dinner and overnight at UWA Banda.
Day 4
KIDEPO VALLEY N.P.
Enjoy an early breakfast and then embark on a walking safari. After that drive to Kidepo River Valley with a packed lunch then enjoy a picnic with the sound of palm trees in constant motion with the wind not forgetting the fresh air. Dinner and overnight at UWA Banda.
Day 5
KIDEPO VALLEY – GULU
Have an early start from Kidepo Valley national park and enjoy a scenic drive, enroute have lunch in Kitgum and spend the night in Gulu. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Pearl Afrique.
Day 6
GULU (ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY) – KAMPALA
Early morning drive from Gulu, en-route enjoy a Rhino walk through Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where we see the rhinos which are close to extinct by vigorous pursuit of their horns. Proceed to Kampala then Entebbe, freshen up, relax and have dinner by the shores of Lake Victoria before you continue to the Airport.
