Lake Mburo National Park & White Water Rafting in Jinja
Itineraries
Day 1
KAMPALA – LAKE MBURO NP
Early morning drive from Kampala to Lake Mburo, enroute have a short stopover at the Equator before you get to Masaka district. After the long drive relax then have dinner and overnight at UWA Tented Camp.
Day 2
LAKE MBURO NP
Early morning your guides will brief you before you head into the dense forest on your search for Zebras, Cape buffalos, Eland Antelopes, Oribi and Topi, Impalas then after enjoy a boat trip. The park is a very good opportunity for bird watchers, who will enjoy more than 250 species of birds, found here, including Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, Caruthers, cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-faced Go-away bird. In the afternoon enjoy a boat trip or horseback riding. In the evening relax back at UWA Tented Camp.
Day 3
LAKE MBURO NP – KAMPALA
Early morning drive from Lake Mburo to Kampala.
Day 4
WHITE WATER RAFTING – KAMPALA
You are picked up at the hotel early in the morning. We travel by mini bus towards Jinja to “Starting point”where you get a short instruction and training in the use of the floats. We continue down the Nile rapids on the rafts. After a lot of fun, you will be driven back to Kampala.
